Every Tuesday at 8 pm a bowling league has been arranged. Depending on the wishes of the client, more community time is welcome at NEBS, such as but not limited to video games, go-karts, and pool games to name a few things. According to our client's interest, there are many opportunities available for Community inclusion in the Durham Region. Prior programs have been organized through the YMCA,
Library, Trails, Parks, lakes/beaches, and movie theatres. Cultural programming and experiences are very important to our mission and values. We believe in cultural competency and promote cultural experiences, dining in different cultured restaurants, attending music festivals geared towards specific cultures as well as but not limited to having a cultural menu. Each week we research at our local library specific cultures of our clients as well as ones if interested. We have specified nights where menus is planned, grocery shopping for specific items and a family dinner at our table while we discuss different cultures.
